My guest today has a story that has been dubbed by one of my favorite reviews reviews as “From gangs to grace and everything in between…”
After failing public school and being expelled from several continuation schools, MC YOGI has a life changing experience when he was introduced to yoga, which he describes as “a coming home experience.” His story is filled with so many instances of grace, hope, and inspiration. It shows that no matter what your life is like right now, you always have the power to find your true path AND experience grace along the way.
MC YOGI is a world-renowned yoga teacher and musician. He has performed and taught yoga everywhere, from head-lining festivals and nightclubs to performing in the Forbidden City in China and even at the White House. When not on the road, MC YOGI and his wife Amanda teach at their home studio, Point Reyes Yoga, in Northern California.
Today, we dive into his first book SPIRITUAL GRAFFITI: Finding My True Path, a memoir that recounts his journey from gangs to grace.
